The Empress

I created The Empress piece as a thank you and graduation gift for my friend. Without going into too many details, my friend is amazing. She’s been there when it counts and helped my family out tremendously over the past couple of months. I can honestly say that my life would be so much worse without her. I know that’s saying a lot, but she really is that awesome.

The Empress print was created using Adobe Illustrator CS5.5 using a pressure/tilt sensitive Wacom Intous 4 tablet. The whole piece took about 5 hours to make and is actually my second attempt at it. My first attempt involved a 3/4ths angle but I didn’t like the overall presentation of the main subject, the Empress.
